Welcome

St George's is one of several Anglican parishes that serve the town of Shrewsbury. The church is on high ground in Frankwell, to the northwest of Shrewsbury town centre and is separated from it by the River Severn.

We give a warm welcome to all ages - with baby changing and creche facilities for the young, wheelchair access and disabled w.c. All our service have amplification with an induction loop. We welcome very young children to our family service at 10.30am each Sunday. ‘Wriggle bags’ are available from side-persons or Wardens, containing soft items that can be played with in the pews during the service. A crèche (Tadpoles) is usually available in the Meeting Room at the back of church with loudspeakers to hear the service. We are a FAIRTRADE church

Every day from Monday to Saturday (expect Friday - the Vicar's Day Off) Morning Prayer is said at 8.00am and Evening Prayer at 5.00pm in the Lady Chapel at St George's - all are welcome to join us at these times.
